The color blue is versatile and it appears in several traditional and modern patterns. You will find blue duvet covers that include ensembles featuring blue as the main focal point of the colors that are displayed in the pattern. When you are shopping for blue duvet covers, you will come across a wide array of traditional and modern themed blue duvet cover sets that are available in abstract, floral, plaid and solid patterns.

One of the news styles available is the Arboretum Bluebell by Mystic Valley Traders. It features a white floral pattern against a blue backing that reverses to a blue floral pattern against a white backing. This line of bedding has a feel to it that is sophisticated, like a cottage in the country.

The Banff by Lawrence Home is a mixture of patterns with a stylish bold plaid pattern on the face of the comforter and a smaller plaid on the reverse side of the comforter. Simple traditional plaids can add vibrancy to any room. Decorating is easy when it centers on these bold dark colors of green apple, navy beige and muted blue. This blue duvet cover is a blend of cotton and polyester so it is machine washable.

Another newly available style from Lawrence Home is the Barcode. This collection has a clean-cut look that will appeal to both men and women. This collection is contemporary and stylish. The rich textures of the colors with the details like the grommet taped piecing makes this style of blue duvet cover stand out in a room. Throw in some decorative pillows to give the room a sense of flair that is unique.

The Batik by Nygard Home is a contemporary design that includes beautifully textured shades of brown and aqua. This funky pattern will bring energy to any room. This collection is all cotton with 300-thread count.

Another favorite by Lawrence Home is Breeze, which is a large organic silhouette pattern that gives the room the feeling of lying in the cool shade next to the blue water enjoying a piece of milk chocolate under the ivory clouds. The decorative pillows add a bit of shimmer to the room with their sequin accents. The sheets and pillowcases in this collection are 300-thread count merrow stitch.

Another new collection from Mystic Valley Traders is the smooth trendy Cafe Aqua. The troubles of your day will fade away as you lay among the soft aqua blue accents on the contemporary shades of tan in a box design that is as easy on the eyes as it is soft to the touch.

The elegant floral style of Carrington by Down Town is beautiful in this collection that includes solid fitted sheets and pillowcases that are reversible. The technique of the weave in the solid colors gives you the opportunity to personalize your ensemble with dark or light colors. The solid color bed skirts that are offered with this style are reversible. The soothing color scheme of pink, blue and latte is just one of the reasons why this is my favorite style of blue duvet cover set.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

About the Author: Terry's Fabrics has been in business for over 35 years. In later years curtains were placed in front of window glass to help reduce heat loss and draughts caused by ill fitting and single glazed windows. With the invention of double and triple glazed windows heat loss has been greatly reduced however, people still require a form of privacy and have the need to block out light during the night. As the need to have thick heavyweight curtains has been eradicated in the majority of homes, window dressings have become an integral part of interior design styles, with the focus on having a window treatment which compliments both the style and décor of a room.

To achieve a window dressing which looks ‘picture perfect’ at all times is usually custom-made. There are a variety of different window treatments which provide an elegant look to a room. Swags made from a piece of lined fabric, draped into folds to form a semi-circle are made as a separate pieces and fixed directly to a pelmet board or pole according to the swag design. The tails are made from a length of fabric which is folded vertically into a concertina of pleats. At the bottom hem of the folded tail the fabric will be visible from both sides so will need to be lined in the main or suitable contrasting fabric.

Swags and tails which are professionally made and hung offer an elegant and sophisticated window treatment. The curtains are usually left pulled back and held with complimentary hold backs, privacy and light control is provided by the means of a roller blind which is hung inside the window recess. Using a blind prevents the necessity to try and re-arrange the folds in the curtain fabrics and therefore offers an ideal solution to having a ‘picture perfect’ window dressing at all times. Contrasting rich colours in suede against a cream fabric are an modern approach to this style of window treatment, the subtle glimpses of the suede fabric in both the swags, tails and hold backs are ideal way to incorporate the curtaining fabrics with the interior design of the room.

Goblet pleated headings make a very stylish curtain heading which is the perfect solution for dressing windows which are high and long. Pleats fall from the goblets which are made in either the main or contrasting fabric. The pleats are then linked together along their base by a hand sewn cord. To help the goblets retain their shape they are usually stuffed with tissue or wadding, with an additional contrasting covered button at the base. This style of curtain is recommended to be custom made by professionals who will gauge the correct amount of goblets needed to ensure they are placed and spaced correctly. Goblet headings look chic and refined when the curtain’s fabric is a medium to heavy weight, such as a brocade or damask which has an overall design pattern incorporated within it.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

About the Author: Terry's Fabrics has been in business for over 35 years. It is a great, easy and natural therapy for beautiful skin - and takes less than 5 minutes!

How To:

1) Rub palms of hands together briskly 35-40 times - you will feel the energy and heat build up.

2) Relax and hold hands (palms towards face) in front of face - about an inch away from your skin.

3) BREATHE - in for a count of five, out for a count of five. Do this five times.

When To:

1) While washing face - rub hands together as above - then wash face as usual feeling the energy penetrate as you cleanse.

2) After applying your favorite treatment mask - help the mask work even better by using this technique.

3) Nightly when lying in bed before sleep, after completing your evening skin care regimen and applying your nightly creams and lotions.

4) As a weekly facial after applying your favorite essential oil or blend

One way I've learned to use this is while in the tub. After washing my face I apply my favorite facial oil blend or beauty product, get a wash cloth wet with as hot a water as I can stand, and lay it over my face. I then do the hand-energy technique over the wash cloth and following with a cool water rinse.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

About the Author: Dee Braun, a single mom of 6, is a Certified Aromatherapist, Certified Dr. of Reflexology and a natural health practitioner. Goosebumps, cellulite, dry/flaky skin, rough knees and elbows and even detoxification can be helped by adding a few ingredients to your bathing. Learn how to improve the appearance and texture of your skin - safely, effectively and, most importantly - simply.

1. Goosebumps

Goosebumps usually occur on the thighs, the buttocks and/or the upper arms. You can stimulate the circulation by scrubbing regularly with a bath mitt or loofah in the bath. It is also beneficial to scrub with sea salt once in a while, or with sugar, or with a bag filled with oatmeal or bran. The `follow-up` should be a massage thoroughly given with hand cream or body lotion.

2. Bulge-reduction

One treatment that combines friction with a weight-reducing treatment is to use a friction glove. Even if weight loss is not your concern, the glove is an excellent way of eliminating goosebumps and achieving a healthy pink glow.

Alternately, you can use a soft-bristled (natural bristles!) brush to dry brush your skin. I use a cheap one from WalMart which is made by Goody, although there are fancy/expensive ones available. Dry brush your skin, starting at the extremities (feet and hands) and using long strokes always towards your heart. Do this before a bath or shower - it is great for exfoliation, detoxification, circulation and cellulite.

3. Discolored and horny knees and elbows

Regular attention is required to these areas to eradicate the problem, but a `blitz` treatment can be commenced right now.

a. First the elbows and knees should be massaged with cleansing cream and then tissued off. These should then be worked with a pumice stone and water whilst you are in the bath and then rubbed with sea salt or an oatmeal and bran, or with sugar mixed with a little vegetable oil. You should then rinse well.

b. Following the bath, a cut lemon should be rubbed over the elbows and knees and the juice allowed to dry.

c. The areas should then be massaged well using body lotion or hand cream.

You can do this treatment once a week or once a month, but in between times you should ensure to pumice and massage with hand cream or body lotion.

4. Very Dry Skin

Skin Conditioning and Rejuvenation

* 4 drops Lavender Essential Oil

* 2 drops Ylang-Ylang Essential Oil

* 1 drop Palmarosa Essential Oil

* 1 drop Geranium Essential Oil

Blend and add 3-5 drops to 1/4 cup baking soda or epsom salts. Remove from heat, add tea bags and let steep until cool. Remove Herbs and combine tea-infused oil with remaining ingredients in a 12-ounce glass bottle with a lid or a stopper. Close tightly and shake well to mix the oils. Store mixture in a cool, dark place for 24 hours to allow the oils to blend.

To use, add 2 ounces to your bath water and soak 10-20 minutes.

Marigold and Fennel Milk Bath

Fennel acts as a stimulant, while marigold offers healing qualities. Milk is an excellent skin softener and conditioner.

* Muslin material

* 8 T. Milk powder

* 4 Oz. Dried Fennel seeds

* 2 Oz. Dried marigold flowers

* Ribbon

Cut out a 10 inch diameter circle of muslin. In a bowl, mix together the seeds, milk powder, and marigold flowers. Place a large handful of the mixture into the center of the muslin circle. Gather up the edges to form a pouch and tie tightly with ribbon. Toss into hot bath and allow to steep about 10 minutes before entering.

Honey and Oatmeal Milk Bath

* 1 cup powdered milk

* 1 cup finely ground oats

* 1/2 cup honey powder

* 2 tsp fragrant oil of choice

Place all ingredients into a glass or stainless steel bowl, mix well. Soak for 10-15 minutes. Additionally, you can apply this blend to problem areas 2-3 times per day after bath or shower for 30 days.

6. Detoxification and Deodorization

Deodorizing Herbal Bath

All of the Herbs in this recipe contain ingredients that will deodorize your body. It is a wonderful herbal mixture to enjoy after a hot day of working in the garden.

* 1/4 cup fresh or 2 tablespoons dried Thyme

* 1/4 cup fresh or 2 tablespoons dried Lavender buds

* 1/4 cup fresh or 2 tablespoons dried Rosemary

* 1 muslin bath bag

* 1 quart boiling water

Add the fresh or dried Herbs to the bag and close snugly. Add the bag to the water and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes. Remove the infusion from the heat and cool to lukewarm. Add the infusion and bag to your bathwater, using the bag of herbs as a washcloth.

Skin-Softening and Detox Bath

Adapted from 365 Simple Pleasures, collected by Susannah Seton (Conari Press, 2001).

The bath has the added benefit of helping to remove Toxins, and being very calming and relaxing, too.

Ingredients

* 1 cup buttermilk

* 3 tablespoons Epsom salts

* 1/2 tablespoon Olive Oil or Canola oil

* 3 drops Lavender Essential Oil

Combine ingredients and pour into the stream of warm water as your tub fills. Immerse yourself and soak for 15 minutes or so.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

About the Author: Dee Braun, a single mom of 6 kids, is a Certified Aromatherapist, Certified Dr. of Reflexology and a natural health practitioner. Research has shown that the psychological stress experienced by women with infertility is equal to that of someone that is coping with chronic pain. The emotional impact can be overwhelming for any couple. You may feel upset each time that you someone with small children or a pregnant woman. Asking yourself why it is so easy for some people to become pregnant but not you. You may be embarrassed by your inability to have a child of your own. Then there are the financial impacts. Fertility treatments are not inexpensive. They can range anywhere from $500.00 to $12,000.00. So how much help you can get will depend on the budget that you're working with. Another aspect of your life affected by infertility can be your relationship. Sexual tension seems to be the most common. Having sex on schedule can make it feel more like a chore. When it should be viewed as a way to express love between two people.
There are things that you can do to relieve some of the tension caused by infertility. First and foremost locate a support group where both you and your partner can interact with other people experiencing the same thing. Getting your feelings out in the open and finding that other couples are dealing with the same struggles can make you feel better. Next educate yourself as much as possible. Knowing as much as possible about your situation can help you to feel more in control. Learning to relax is also very important. The FDA estimates that people in the United States spend more than $500 million annually on acupuncture treatments. Taking a yoga class will also be very calming. Finally, do not allow your infertility to take over your sex life. Keep your sex life fun and enjoyable. Go on a romantic weekend getaway. Just enjoy each other. If you begin experiencing a feeling of loss or show signs of depression. It is time to set up an appointment with your doctor. Discuss your feelings with your doctor and they can tell you the best treatment options. Good luck!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

About the Author: Discover more ways to increase your chances of getting pregnant.

homedddhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03304141487433059843noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4236594045011367063.post-87593381971739754082008-09-01T21:11:00.000-07:002008-09-01T21:12:46.410-07:00How Much Is Infertility Costing You?Did you know that infertility is an issue for 1 in 6 couples. If you've been trying to conceive for more than a year without any success, it may be time to make an appointment with your doctor. They will conduct fertility tests on both you and your partner. Once you have the results are back, your doctor can go over different options with you. Each can range drastically in price. Some couples have insurance that covers a portion of these costs.Unfortunately in the US, currently only 12 states have laws regarding insurance coverage of fertility treatments.
Couples have several different treatment options to choose from depending on the specific cause of your infertility. Medicine is the most common first choice. Clomid causes ovulation by acting on the pituitary gland. Normally it is prescribed for women that are having ovulation problems, and is taken by mouth. Injections are also a popular choice for couples.Pergonal and Repronex are injected directly on the ovaries to stimulate ovulation. The cost for this is minimal compared to others ranging from $500.00 up to $1500.00 per treatment. IUI or Intrauterine insemination is another type of treatment. You may know it as artificial insemination. This procedure involves injecting the woman with specially prepared sperm. Sometimes taking medicine to increase ovulation prior to the procedure. the average cost for one cycle is $865.00. Most couples require three cycles on average. In vitro fertilisation is a process by which egg cells are fertilised by sperm outside of the woman's womb. The fertilised egg is then transferred to the uterus with the intent of establishing a successful pregnancy. This treatment is normally a last resort option due to the high cost. With the average IVF cycle using fresh embryo is $8,158.00. This does not include the cost of medication for your IVF which can range from $3,000.00 to $5,000.00 per cycle. No matter which treatment option you and you partner choose the cost can be overwhelming.
There are some things you can do to lower your expenses. First always ask your doctor or clinic when discussing various procedures if the cost of tests, lab work, and any medication are included in the price? Do they provide psychological counseling for you and your partner? Is this included in the fees? Are they a member of the Advanced Reproductive Care, Inc. network? If so you may be eligible for the ARC Affordable Payment Plan™. it offers you the option of monthly payments and a money back guarantee. Not everyone qualifies for this program, but worth looking into. Some companies offer infertility insurance. Please read each plan carefully as they can vary tremendously in amount of coverage and cost for each procedure. Another option is asking your clinic if they offer a shared risk or refund IVF program. You pay for your IVF treatments in advance. Then the clinic or shared risk program will refund all or part of your money if you do not have a successful IVF cycle within the number of cycles that you paid for. Please look closely at the definition of successful in the contract. If your pregnancy were to end in miscarriage would you receive your money back? You would prefer successful to be baby in hand. No matter which treatment option you choose, having a successful pregnancy makes it all worth while. Good luck on your journey to parenthood.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

About the Author: Discover more ways to increase your chances of getting pregnant!

homedddhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03304141487433059843noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4236594045011367063.post-1820718443601238242008-09-01T21:08:00.000-07:002008-09-01T21:11:43.280-07:00UK jewellery market moves onlineA woman wearing a fabulous dress with sensual shoes and her hair styled to perfection often feels at her very best, a woman can then ruin the whole look with the wrong choice of jewelry. As if the “rules” for the length of the skirt, the height of the shoes and the color of lipstick were not enough, women also have to worry about what they should and should not be used to make jewelry work for them.

Using jewelry intelligently does not require an in depth knowledge of fashion. Your choice and use of jewelry tells the world: "I'm not modest and I feel good, enjoy life and I’m feeling great about my appearance." The main thing to remember is that less is nearly always more. If you are using a thick bracelet and a necklace, forget bling-bling and big earrings you don’t need to wear all your jewelry items at once.

When you want to use large and heavy jewelry, you should avoid clothing with heavy designs they just don’t get along. All-black clothing and all-white flat clothing, is perfect with big jewelry or colorful chunky items. Have fun with trends in coral and turquoise in the summer season. The last thing to remember is that the larger the stone the less real it seems. Big cocktail rings are retro-cool and very fashionable, but resist the temptation to wear them with a lot of other pieces of jewelry that are heavily encrusted, just let the ring is the focal point of your look.

Using gold with gold and silver with silver creates a more traditional look, but true fashion often revolves around a more modern look. The trick is, if you want to mix metals, maintain a similar style of jewelry. A modern gold bracelet does not look good when combined with delicate earrings of platinum or diamonds. This "fashion stacking" lends itself perfectly to a mix of metals, so you can combine rings or bracelets round or square in different shades of gold. Many think that the HIV scourge is the only ailment that hassled many including the intelligent doctors. Wrong. A vaginal sore is another ailment that is so ambiguous that one can move from one doctor heading to the next and at the end of the day nothing! As such, as you peruse those magazines, you are likely to come across diversified information concerning the causes and cures and perhaps you have tried most of them without much satisfaction.

Many doctors connect vaginal sores with the sexually transmitted diseases like the genital warts and genital herpes which they add up that the two diseases should be sufficient evidence that you have got vaginal sores. However these two ailments are not easily notable and one can live with them harmlessly for years. To avoid catching some of these sexually triggered diseases you need to exercise a lot of caution in a lot of areas. Every one thinks that they can only get contaminated through sexual intercourse with infected persons but this is not always the case.

If you are the kind of a woman who frequents the beauty parlor for beauty tips then be vigilant because this could be the reason why you have those eternal vaginal sores. This is because; the equipment they use to shear your unkempt pubic hair could be carrying the viruses that cause the sexually transmitted diseases perhaps because they do not sterilize them thoroughly. You should know that they use similar devices to shave all sorts of customers even those who are shameless sex- scavengers. So if these adversities befall you and you happen to be a docile girl, blame your beautician for that vaginal sore.

Do not also forget that douching is a potential cause of vaginal sore especially if the device is shared and not sterilized. They are also latent causes of yeast infections that could show up a vaginal sore as a symptom. At the height of yeast infections, the vaginal sores could spread like a cancer such that they invade the entire vaginal part and this is absolutely excruciating. Although the chemistry behind the occurrence of vaginal sores is so vague that even the doctors toss their patients like coins from one cause to the next, fling your agony to his caring brain. He is in a better position to indicate the probability of suffering from a different disease that could be devouring your white blood cells making your immune system weak.

The most important thing to avoid vaginal sores is to practice responsible sex. The reason for this is because the sores have been connected to sexually transmitted diseases. However if the doctor have already recommended a prescription, take it as instructed but save your abundant semen till further notice, spare those bed fireworks till you get better. Make sure that whenever you are having periods, you wash regularly not because you are afraid of the filthy bloody tissue stench but to avoid yeast fungi overgrowth causing yeast infections with painful vaginal sores.

About the Author: This is an original article written by Esteri Maina on VAGINAL SORES Esteri Maina is an author with a great gift and full of inspiration.

See other site on WHAT WOMEN SHOULD KNOW

See other site on HYGIENICALLY LIVING

http://www.easyarticles.com/article-141432.htm

homedddhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03304141487433059843noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4236594045011367063.post-64236163052884585712008-05-16T02:15:00.000-07:002008-05-16T02:16:31.892-07:00Vaginal Rash could Cross the Line!

What happens when anything crosses the line that depicts our limits? Well talk about war and the enemy better prepare to tumble down, talk about education and the student fret about bad grades, how about law? The culprit risk rotting behind bars and the list is surely endless. But I happened to be thinking really big about fate and what one can do when it unexpectedly pushes one to their limits anyway. If you reflect on it, strange ailments can be thought of being triggered by fate especially when no single doctor brain seems to discover the treatment.

These questions I pose to you women, what the hell will you do if the vaginal rash crosses the line? I really can't be sure of the kind of answer you are going to give me but the outright truth is that vaginal rash can send you temper tantrums you never went through before. Well there was a time when some science analysts said that the ongoing destruction of ozone layer might have effects of extreme temperatures that might have the implication of having our women walk half naked not because they can't contain themselves in any form of covering but because their sexual passion can't let them.

Well I don't know the validity of this theory, but all I know is that when this vaginal rash crosses the line, they might as well damp those inner garments that only exaggerate the pain and discomfort. When the vaginal rash is so severe a woman might have unimaginable problems down there because when rash is not burning it is a terrible itch or oozing a disgusting pus which only wets the underpants, what is she supposed to do to the same vaginal rash when it makes her change her walking style? This must be what they were waiting for, to scavenge the left over news that the local television broadcast didn't settle for. Some will stare at you and whisper things among themselves and before you know they accuse you of having contracted a sexually transmitted disease yet it might be a mere yeast infection. Fine, they could be right because this vaginal rash could be a sign the last man you undressed to left you this disgrace without you realizing it so get tested already!

What is repulsive about this infection is that it appears like white sharp pimples with jugged edges and they might redden at some point causing unbearable pain. This could happen when the 'rainy season' from the vagina is due, causing lots of wetness in the nearby areas and there we go again, the yeast fungi have a reason to applaud at this great breeding opportunity. The most important thing this sister with vaginal rash need to understand is that it doesn't make sense to bury her head on the sand and refuse to acknowledge her problem. She must compose her self, and gather strength to withstand the suffering that comes with these kinds of infections. She must leave the tight wear to the few girlfriends who are lucky enough to nothing to obstruct them. While it will not be long before they also start leaving their tight jeans unzipped, so they can scrape those yeasty off!! Lady there is not much you could do when that vaginal rash crosses the line except being yourself and confront it head-on

About the Author: This is an original article written by Esteri Maina on VAGINAL RASH Esteri Maina is an author with a great gift and full of inspiration.

See other site on WHAT WOMEN SHOULD KNOW

See other site on CATCH-22 TOP QUESTION - Marry him or leave him?

http://www.easyarticles.com/article-141431.htm

homedddhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03304141487433059843noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4236594045011367063.post-91609942924542559742008-05-16T02:14:00.000-07:002008-05-16T02:15:03.513-07:00Yeast Allergy and What You Do Not Know

Women have acknowledged for a long time that they are always on the frontier when the Candida albican 'time bomb' explodes and thus they have learned the art of being on guard always. They have recognized the symptoms and how to go about treating themselves at home. Yeast is a central stabilizer used in a lot of mainly eaten food stuffs like baked products and wines too. Yeast is principally a fungi and conducive for fermentation process. However there are circumstances when yeast overgrows thus causing Yeast allergy.

One may wonder what yeast allergy is but this is already taken care of in this article. Any sort of allergy occurs after an oversensitive reaction owing to eating a particular type of food, taking some drugs, inhaling dust and animal fur. Allergies are diversified, but in this article, I will contemplate my discussion to yeast allergy. Yeast proliferates under moist atmosphere like any fungi. Once they mount up, they could easily cause a yeast infection. Once yeast multiplies they can overpower other bacteria that is harmless in our bodies thus resulting to a yeast allergy if this on the skin surface.

Drenched areas of the body are susceptible to yeast infection such as the mouth and damp areas in the skin can easily be contaminated by yeast. If the immune system in your body is weakened as a result of serious disorders such as the depression and anxiety or even HIV infection and cancer, you could be prone to yeast allergy. Correspondingly certain chemicals contained in medicines can as well amplify your likelihood of getting infected with yeast.

Yeast allergy can cause lot of troubles to your body and especially the skin. It can also deteriorate your fundamental organs and as well as make them faulty not to function well. Yeast allergy just like vaginal yeast infections could cause more thorny problems if left untreated. In such cases they will persuade other frightful diseases. Yeast infections can be a potential threat especially if your skin and other sensory organs are prone to straightforward infection.

It is quite complicated to perceive yeast allergy symptoms immediately. It might emerge to be like an ordinary disease as in the case of an esophagus infection or any type of exasperation. Nonetheless do not fret yet because one gets to identify the symptoms clearly if there is secretion or a discharge of white liquid in and around the contaminated areas. As the pus surge out of the infected areas or as it forms, one must expect terrifying pain and should consult a doctor.

In the same way Yeast allergy may cause extreme itching and swelling at the affected areas. It is worth pointing out that these symptoms will blow up over and over again particularly if the victim turns away from any efforts to seek medical thought on the supposition that they are like any normal lesion. The white liquid will smell like yeast and should you notice this you must directly consult your medical doctor to make sure that the crisis is not provoked.

About the Author: This is an original article written by Esteri Maina on YEAST ALLERGY Esteri Maina is an author with a great gift and full of inspiration.

See other site on WHAT WOMEN SHOULD KNOW

See other site on CATCH-22 TOP QUESTION - Marry him or leave him?

http://www.easyarticles.com/article-141429.htm

homedddhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03304141487433059843noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4236594045011367063.post-21015498408549963902008-05-16T02:13:00.002-07:002008-05-16T02:14:21.863-07:00Vaginal pain can be intolerable

When our bodies can not handle too much discomfort due to vaginal pain then the most important thing to do is to take it to the doctor to do his job. Although women are said to be the weaker sex, this can be considered ironic reflecting on the pain she has to go through with the birthing process only to be reciprocated by some undeserving punches by the so-called father after reporting home at the morning. As if this pain is not sufficient, she then has to deal with intolerable in the same wretched organ after the birth either internally or externally.

Vaginal pain is experienced typically during sexual intercourse. A considerable vaginal pain case can be linked to a health problem that would automatically demand medical intervention. I have seen many women suffering bladder problems after giving birth and they have reported having experience dire lower belly pain and lower back pain. This will then progress to the vagina when passing urine or having sexual intercourse. Nonetheless the vaginal pain could be complicated by leading a stressful life style resulting to anxiety and emotional strain. So in fact the major effect of one experiencing vaginal pain is sexual dysfunction which might result to marital infections.

Chronic vaginal pain possible causes of symptoms include ovarian cysts, endometrial and cervical cancers, pelvic inflammatory disease, and uterine fibroid among others. But then when one can exactly spot the parts and after what actions they become very painful then seeing a doctor will be the next important step. There some women who experience extreme pain during their periods in form of cramps. However one experiences severe pain in the pelvic bone, rectal pain during bowel movement, bloody spots on the stool, these should be enough reasons to seek medical intervention.

If by any chance if he blames any vaginal infection for this vaginal pain, then the next step must be the one of treating the underlying causes. One may opt to take the doctor's prescription in the hospitable, purchase the over the counter medication or decide on what indoor remedy to use. Whichever one chooses the aim should to get better any way. Due to these vaginal infections the victims might experience painful abrasions and pain that automatically results to vaginal pain.

The yogurt is one of the best remedy that could be used to sooth these abrasions and inflammations both externally and internally. It should be easy to apply because one need only to trace a pot of plain yogurt and then dip a tampon there and then inserts it inside. He must also massage some of it over his vaginal walls and the swollen vulva. The other important herbal remedy is garlic that should be inserted as a clove or rubbed to the sores. Others include the cranberries, tree oil, and aloe Vera among others. What is more a woman must discontinue sex when she is experiencing vaginal pain until the symptoms subsides. She must also ensure good hygiene practices so as prevent persistent vaginal infections causing vaginal pain.

About the Author: This is an original article written by Esteri Maina on VAGINAL PAIN Esteri Maina is an author with a great gift and full of inspiration.

See other site on WHAT WOMEN SHOULD KNOW

See other site on CATCH-22 TOP QUESTION - Marry him or leave him?

http://www.easyarticles.com/article-141428.htm

homedddhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03304141487433059843noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4236594045011367063.post-85575418351519874262008-05-16T02:13:00.001-07:002008-05-16T02:13:43.592-07:00The Rules Of Using Makeup

You are sure to be thinking that to possess the same radiance and ideal complexion the celebrities can boast of, you will need to hire one of Hollywood’s best make-up artists. However, you are mistaken. Most of the actions that the make-up artist does are very effortless and easy to reconstruct on an affordable budget. Here you can find some pieces of advice that you can use to produce the perfect make-up on your own being at ease in your own home.
To create a clean fresh look, think about applying various tints of pink. They usually work perfectly with all types of skin and create quite a sophisticated look. Choosing eye-shadow, go with a pure product. Do not be too ruthless with the lipstick – select a lighter shade and it will work perfectly. For blush, employ a fresh rosy color. A radiant tinted moisturizer will make a perfect canvas in which to construct your fresh look without making you look like a painting.
To create a pure radiant look, you can use a bronzer. To make the foundation for it more stable and firm, you should put a moisturizer first. If you want to even out your skin tone, think about a tinted moisturizer. Put the powder bronze to the temples, as well as to cheeks, jaw-line, and the bridge of your nose. Be careful in choosing the bronzer, which suits your skin tone and is combined well with the rest of your cosmetics. To add more glamour, you should merely apply mascara and a lip gloss.
Nonetheless, the most crucial thing to always keep in mind is that only practice makes perfect. You can effortlessly get these looks but sometimes you will have to adapt each piece of advice to work best for your skin type, hair color and the whole image.

About the Author: Despite the great experience of custom essay writing, editing and proofreading, Norman Hooper doesn’t stop searching for new methods and ways of improving the quality of Formal Essay and Reflection Essay writing and introduces them successfully.

http://www.easyarticles.com/article-141046.htm

homedddhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03304141487433059843noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4236594045011367063.post-1208763827427178262008-05-16T02:12:00.001-07:002008-05-16T02:12:51.146-07:00Five Places to Order a Mother's Day Gift Basket

Mother's Day is just around the corner. It most certainly reigns supreme in countries where women have no rights. So it is a world-wide problem and the bad news is it isn't going to go away anytime soon.

We could argue that many women don't know any better that verbal and physical abuse is just the way things are: witness the sect in Texas recently that got busted for polygamy and child abuse. One third of the women there under age 16 were pregnant. Just the way things are eh?

Or we could argue that men don't know any different. They saw that kind of abuse from their fathers when they were growing up and accepted it as "that's just the way things are." That's how men treat women. I don't think so!

Did you know?

1. Domestic violence causes 25% of workplace problems like absenteeism, lower productivity, and excessive medical benefits use to the tune of more than $5.8 billion annually.

2. Seventy eight percent of all Human Resource Directors recognize it as a substantial employee problem.

3. It costs corporate America $1.8 billion in lost productivity.

4. Eight million man days of paid work and 5.6 million man days of household work are lost annually due to domestic violence.

5. One out of three women report some form of physical or sexual abuse in their lives most often a member of her own family.

6. It is the largest cause of injury to middle aged women but it happens to men as well.

7. It is estimated that between 3.3 million and 10 million children see it annually.

8. Twenty two percent of middle class divorces are caused by it.

9. Eighty five to ninety percent of the victims are female who more than likely know their attacker and are between the ages of 16-24.

One of the biggest problems in a domestic violence dispute is evidence. It usually boils down to a "he said, she said" situation with no witnesses. Now there's a new tool that can be used to record audio and video as evidence.

It is the pocket DVR. It is about the size of a cell phone and can record audio and video discreetly and covertly. It is so easy to hide and use.

Hopefully you'll never need it but if you do need an audio and/or video recording of an incident or a history of incidents this is your baby.

Jack Krohn is the #1 author of Home Security Articles in the country. I sleep on the right side each night, where I had slept the twenty-plus years we were together. With time, I developed a habit of reading in bed. The left side remained neatly made, but on top of the quilted cover a mound of reading material gradually grew. I read about feng shui in the bedroom and wondered was I preventing another partner from entering my life by allowing that pile to grow? Was there a part of me that would rather be entertained by books than another partner?

I sorted through and cleared away my husband’s clothes a few months after his passing, following an inexplicable but strong urge that struck me. Our bedroom was on the second floor, and with his illness, he had not been in that room at least six months prior to his passing. I went through the bedroom like a whirlwind, clearing out every corner, drawer and shoe box, getting rid of anything that resembled clutter or hadn’t been used in years. I cleared all but the barest essentials for living.

At night, I would lie in bed and stare into the dark, feeling the emptiness of the room, as it matched the emptiness in my heart.

When I took off my wedding ring the first time, I put it on my opposite hand. It felt strange to be on a finger where it didn’t belong. I got used to it after a few weeks, but I wasn’t sure what the protocol was for widows and rings. After several months, I took the ring off and put it on my dresser, but then months later, I resumed wearing it again on my right hand.

Switching the wedding band around felt awkward. After several more months, I removed it for the final time, wondering if my kids would notice. My youngest son one day remarked that my ring was gone and I told him I’d put it as a keepsake in my jewelry box. The last time I wore it was two and a half years after my husband’s death.

The first time I went to a social event without my husband felt incredibly awkward, as if I were an imposter masquerading as someone single. Two of my children went with me, but I wondered how many people there, most of whom I knew, wondered about my state of mind since I’d been a widow a scant two months. Did I look happy, sad, ready to cry? Inside I was shaky and struck with inadequacy, as if half of me was missing and the remaining half didn’t know how to act. I certainly didn’t want anyone’s pity, but I had this crazy notion people were feeling bad for me. I didn’t stay long, but somehow I felt it was important that I had gone.

My first lunch by myself I slipped into the diner booth hoping no one would notice me. I sat there self-consciously, wishing I had brought something to read so I could keep my head down, my own way of hiding. I had gone in there just to see if I could do it by myself, a test, if you will.

As I waited for my food I looked at the television showing the weather, the other patrons, and out the window at the rain. My food arrived and later when I walked out of there, it was like I’d cleared a monumental hurdle and taken another step forward.

It sounds trivial, and yet these little steps were my daily leaps forward. Progress was measured some days by how long it had been since I’d cried. Was it silly to drive down the road and suddenly hear a song that made you cry? Not because it was “your” song, but because the poignant lyrics poked at something hurting inside.

My first date in twenty plus years felt as foreign as if I was cheating on my husband. How do you pick up the pieces of a life gone awry, where it feels like you’re a stranger in your own world? Where does loneliness end and desperation take over? How do you control the craving for human attention and affection? Many days I had questions and no answers.

The first wedding anniversary, birthday, holiday, Valentines day and the first anniversary of his death I told myself I was okay, these were merely days on a calendar. I lied to myself and on bright sunny days I walked into our woods and cried. Even with the sun’s warmth on my face, I felt an emotional mess. The biggest sustaining factor in my life was my kids. I knew they needed me as they faced their own “firsts” without their father in their lives.

Gradually, time, healing and loved ones’ support made all the “firsts” bearable. Four years down the road, I realize I’ve successfully jumped many hurdles. It had not always been with perfect execution, but with overall strength and dignity. I’ve come into my own power once more as I applaud my accomplishments big and small. Western doctors treat women in menopause like they have a disease. In truth, menopause is a transitional imbalance, a change that can be comforted with some study and experimentation.

Peri-menopausal woman report experiencing symptoms including hot flashes, anger, urinary tract infections, irritability, hyperacidity, skin breakouts (acne), rashes, low sex drive, mood swings, and more. If the sole cause of menopause is a loss of hormones, as is commonly believed in the west, then why do some women experience no symptoms at all during menopause while others can no relief from menopause?

In the Ayurvedic tradition (medical practice of India), doctors report that if a woman reaching this stage already has an imbalance often caused by a diet of fast food, or eating foods with chemicals and preservatives causing an accumulation of digestive impurities, or if stress is a daily experience, she is likely to report more symptoms at this stage in life.

What are some of the things a woman can do to treat her most prevalent and disturbing symptoms?

Diet is a good place to start. If you have hot flashes and mood swings, avoid spicy foods such as chili, cayenne and black mustard seed, vinegar, salty and sour foods. Instead, go for bitter, astringent and sweet foods including vegetables, rice, milk, wheat and pasta, fruit (especially pears and plums), and spices such as cinnamon, coriander, cardamom, fennel and cumin seed.

If you are experiencing symptoms such as memory loss or vaginal dryness, eat cooked, warm foods that are low in fat. Include sweet, sour and salty with a breakfast of cooked apples, prunes and figs to cleanse the digestive system. Under all circumstances, avoid packaged, processed, frozen, and canned foods including leftovers.

Do eat organic when possible and foods that are cooked fresh on a daily basis. The bulk of your diet should be whole grains, fresh fruit, vegetables and legumes.
Don’t eat meat, cheese, yogurt and frozen deserts. Don’t skip meals and eat your main meal at noon, and if possible, try to take your meals at the same time each day so your body can count on the consistency.

Asians consume up to 6 servings of soy foods a day, and as a result, they report a significantly lower rate of menopausal discomfort. There are currently plenty of soy products on the market, but to consume the equivalent of 6 cups of soymilk (and its supplement called isoflavones) is difficult and some women find the taste of soy to be “chalky” and somewhat unpleasant. There is, however, a source where you can select The #1 Doctor-Recommended Soy Protein Supplement for Menopause Relief

Other things you can do to get menopause relief from its uncomfortable symptoms include mild, consistent exercise as well as other information for menopause relief on this page.

The information in this article is for educational purposes only, and is not intended as medical advice.

About the Author: Cathy Taylor is a marketing consultant and freelance writer. You know, where the slightest request from your husband can cause you to go off. Or perhaps the cries of your child for a new Playstation game makes you lose it. For me, I would be standing in a grocery story line and see a small child and begin to weep uncontrollably. Typically mood swings can't be explained rationally.

These kinds of lightning fast changes in how you feel play a significant role in the menopause game and are often one of the first things women notice that causes her to suspect something is not right! Sometimes it is a very circuitous route to discovering that you are in perimenopause. Characteristics of menopausal mood changes can include extreme irritability, blatant rage, concentrated anxiety, depression, indifference as well as nervousness.

Menopause and mood swings work together because changes in hormonal levels (most notably, dropping progesterone and estrogen levels) are beginning to take shape inside a woman's body. Hormone levels affect the level of serotonin in the brain which can cause depressive symptoms. These changes may make women feel unreasonably insecure about themselves and their current role in life, which contributes to more feelings of worthlessness.

Other factors that trigger mood swings in menopause sufferers are the symptoms they face. Tinnitus (whooshing and ringing sensations in the ear due to nerve damage as a result of aging & hearing loss), incontinence (or other abnormal bladder behavior), and hot flashes also add to the overall crankiness a menopausal woman faces.

Mood swings can be significantly reduced by following a course of action such as a weekly exercise regimen. Exercise, specifically meditation, deep breathing and yoga, have been proven to relieve mood swings. Besides, exercise is the ultimate anti-aging activity - women who move their bodies consistently report looking and feeling younger. And, many women have reported the benefits of soy products as well as a natural progesterone cream to relieve symptoms.

Another healthy objective is to have a steady social support group to turn to. Menopause sufferers find that soothing words from their family and friends, some confirmation that the sky isn't falling down and that she is certainly not alone, is a tremendous help to their overall well-being.

The third course of action is to follow the right diet. Caffeine loaded drinks like coffee and soda can lead to symptoms you want to avoid such as breast tenderness. They will only excite your body's nervous system leading to restless sleep that can make you cranky throughout the day. Drink certain decaffeinated teas that increase serotonin levels in the brain, like passionflower and chamomile, which will also relax and help provide blissful sleep.

Here's a tip for some that don't have a lactose issue - grab the milk bottle in the refrigerator and warm it up. Tryptophan, a component found in warm milk, is known to increase serotonin in the brain and can help you rest better. A multivitamin and mineral supplement may also help load your body with the right nutrients, balancing things out. Be sure to check with your doctor about what types and amounts are appropriate for your body.

You can avoid menopause mayhem and eliminate mood swings and the sudden onset of crying by following the above advice - feel refreshed mentally and emotionally for a better day

The information in this article is for educational purposes only, and is not intended as medical advice.

About the Author: Cathy Taylor is a marketing consultant and freelance writer. Menopause and the problems that come along with it is largely dependent upon a woman's genetic make-up, but equally responsible is the way she has led her life.

Her lifestyle, family history and the amount of exercise, diet balance and emotional well being she has maintained, are all contributing factors that determine her possible menopausal issues.

Menopause and Muscle Weakness: Causes

The years after menopause can be happy and productive, if negative consequences, such as, muscular weakening, reduced bone density, irritability and joint pains are avoided through preventive measures. Muscular weakness is a common complaint of many women going through menopause and the likely causes are leading a sedentary lifestyle, smoking or poor nutrition before this change sets in.

Menopause and Muscle Weakness: How to Overcome

As it is possible to prevent bone loss through timely calcium intake and magnesium supplements, combined with weight-bearing moderate impact exercises and strength training with weights, it is also possible to counter muscular weakness. Including vitamin D in the diet and exposure to adequate sunlight with the right balance of a healthy diet and regular physical exercise are factors that contribute to your overall fitness levels.

These precautions would also help prevent the early onset of muscular problems. The downward spiral for women after menopause usually occurs when body stability and flexibility has been neglected through limited movements. This in turn, varies the sensory motor activity and brings down optimal muscular strength.

Menopause and Muscle Weakness: Muscular Mass

Menopausal muscular weakness occurs due to the loss of muscle mass that naturally happens as time goes by. Aging affects women sooner through muscular weakness, if they have not been exercising regularly or adequately and by the age of 70, women lose about 15% every decade.

To combat this problem, it is very important that musculo-skeletal strength training is undertaken to help burn fat and stimulate bones. When this is done, minerals that keep them dense are retained and overall muscular and bone strength is maintained.

From the age of 30 onwards, there is a steady decline in muscle mass and women with no strength training lose between 5 and 7 pounds of muscle mass within 10 years. To be better equipped to bear up to the symptoms of menopause, it is essential for women to take up a properly designed strength-training program as this helps you to have more strength available per kilogram body weight. Your trained muscles remain stronger up to an advanced age and life after menopause can be as fulfilling as before.

Menopause and Muscle Weakness: Prevention

To prevent muscular weakness during menopause, women should go for strength training, and schedule it for two to three times per week using weights, combined with aerobic exercise. This helps in building muscle strength, which affects bone density, balance and endurance. A program for each muscle group that addresses muscular tone, strength and endurance is very important to circumvent menopause and muscular weakness related to it.

Flexibility, balance and coordination increases through regular strength-training, and gentle yoga, Pilates and other stretching activities once or twice weekly can offset the challenges of core musculature. Breathing and other cardio routines, combined with this simple program bring general well-being and better chances of good health later in life too.

About the Author: Cathy Taylor is a marketing consultant and freelance writer. The most common symptoms experienced during and after the panic attacks are, racing heart beats, breathing difficulties, unusual intense energy, rushes of energy, electric currents, hot prickly sensations, vibrations, ice cold and tingly sensations, among others. Studies have shown that menopausal women do not get long-term relief from the symptoms of panic, even after Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT).

Hormone imbalances that occur during perimenopause and menopause could be the cause of panic attacks. These imbalances do create an environment, where you have an increased vulnerability to panic attacks and anxiety disorders. Although hormones may catalyze panic attacks, they are not the direct cause for it. To eliminate such panic attacks during menopause, you need not to take any medications for it. Women who experience panic attacks during menopause:

ท Breathe rapidly and shallowly
ท Hardly make use of the diaphragm in breathing
ท Breathe with the muscles of the chest, neck and shoulders

Understanding Panic Attacks
It is only in the last decade or so that explanations of panic attacks have come forth. With the onset of menopause, feeling that something 'bad' is about to happen, many women suffer from anxiety and panic attacks. The hormonal changes not only affect the menstrual cycle and the changing body, they also affect the mind, spirit and emotions of the menstrual women.

The feelings of anxiety tend to focus on the environment of fear and dread. All sufferers of panic attacks have one thing in common, they do not breathe properly. In fact, they breathe about twice a fast as normal breathers. You are calmly reading a book or sitting in front of the TV, when suddenly, out of the blue, your heart rate accelerates, and you experience panic and terror for no reason. This is what you suffer during panic attacks. Sometimes you suffer persistent periods of panic attacks. In fact, the sudden onslaught of a panic attack may raise concerns about another attack coming through, and this may exhibit significant behavioral changes in you.

A panic attack strikes suddenly, and like the waves at the beach, peaks and ebbs. The intense physical sensations that accompany a panic attack may make you think that you may be suffering a heart attack! Generally, your response to such attacks is always negative, and you always assume the worst.

Younger post-menopausal women are more prone to panic attacks. There are ways to avoid this unfortunate and unnecessary experience. As a women going through menopause, you will be aware that panic attacks are possible. As you are forewarned, train yourself to no longer fear the thought of a panic attack. Too simplistic? Try, and surprise yourself.

Your first panic attack may make you think that all is over. Do not let panic stalk you forever. No type of medication will get you out of it. Do not get into the loop of panic where you wait for another attack to happen.

The information in this article is for educational purposes only, and is not intended as medical advice.

About the Author: Cathy Taylor is a marketing consultant and freelance writer. According to his recent book entitled, “Preventing and Reversing Osteoporosis,” by Dr. Alan Gaby, it takes more vitamins than we think to prevent brittle bones including Vitamins K and B; as well as minerals such as magnesium, phosphorus, fluorine, silica and boron.

The idea is to provide enough combined supplementation for our bodies to make an abundance of healthy collagen which is the connective tissue used to create cartilage and bones. Collagen also 'binds' our cells together and as a result, someone with good collagen has healthy looking skin whereas another will have thin and wrinkled skin.

A healthy bone cut in half looks similar to a sponge. The body deposits calcium, phosphorus and other minerals onto all of those connective fibers and you get healthy bones! The holes give the bone its flexibility, and you won't have healthy bones if you don't have plenty of collagen on which to deposit the minerals.

Collagen is primarily a protein which is made from amino acids. Our bodies can create some of our requirements but we also need additional amounts from our foods and supplements including lysine and praline. Vitamin C is also required to create collagen.

Now we know how bones can be made stronger, but how is this process affected by menopause? The loss of estrogen due to menopause or possibly surgical removal of the ovaries can accelerate bone loss for a period of up to 8 years. It is well established that replacing that estrogen helps protect against the risk of osteoporosis.

More often, women's bones become fragile as we age and it's not uncommon to break bones in the wrist, spine and hip due to osteoporosis. Unfortunately, a fracture such as in the hip, can even shorten our life span so it is important to pay attention to our bone health.

What should be done to prevent osteoporosis from happening after menopause?

First of all, eat the foods that are calcium-rich (about 1,000 mg per day) and can enhance bone growth including: sardines, salmon, seafood, and green leafy vegetables such as swiss chard, beet tops, kale, mustard greens, collards, spinach, dandelion greens, watercress, parsley, chicory, turnip greens, broccoli leaves, almonds, asparagus, blackstrap molasses, broccoli, cabbage, carob, figs, filberts, oats, prunes, sesame seeds, tofu and other soy products. Vitamin D-rich foods include fish oils such as found in salmon, mackerel, sardines), eggs (including the yolks), sweet potatoes, tuna, vegetable oils and cod liver oil. Getting 15-20 minutes of sunlight exposure daily can also boost production of vitamin D.

Exercise is crucial; in particular, you need weight-bearing exercise such as walking, Tai chi, dancing and weight training to reduce the chances of brittle bones at least two times a week. Include 15 to 60 minutes of aerobic activity two to three times a week. Avoid high-impact activities and include stretching exercises.

Finally, use high-quality supplements prescribed by your doctor or health-care provider, and oh yeah, don't forget to have fun.
The information in this article is for educational purposes only, and is not intended as medical advice.

About the Author: Cathy Taylor is a marketing consultant and freelance writer. A natural cream can balance estrogens without side effects.

Progesterone and estrogen are the two main hormones made by women’s ovaries when they are menstruating. Smaller amounts of these hormones are also secreted by the adrenal glands. It's necessary for the survival of the fertilized ovum, its embryo as well as the fetus during gestation.

Progesterone's primary functions include: acting as a precursor to estrogen and testosterone; it maintains uterine lining and aids in gestation; protects against fibrocystic breasts, endometrial and breast cancer; acts as a natural diuretic, helps use fat for energy; can be a natural antidepressant; aids thyroid hormone action; normalizes blood clotting; restores sex drive; normalizes blood sugar, zinc and copper levels; restores proper cell oxygen levels, has a thermogenic effect; builds bone and helps to protects against osteoporosis.

Some doctors feel that menopausal symptoms, osteoporosis and heart disease may not be due to a deficiency of estrogen, but to a relative estrogen excess due to progesterone deficiency.
Synthetic progestins, such as an HRT drug called Provera (a synthetic chemical), do not have the same biological effects as natural progesterone and have been known to cause side effects including: fluid retention, depression, breast tenderness, stroke, jaundice, blood clotting and cervical erosions.

On the other hand, natural progesterone has no known side effects and has been found to be helpful in alleviating symptoms such as PMS and hot flashes. It has also been credited with helping to prevent osteoporosis.

Many doctors now prescribe for women in menopause the use of a low-dose, natural progesterone cream during the last two weeks of the menstrual cycle. (On a personal note, I use the Emerita cream and believe it single-handedly stopped my mood swings and sudden outbursts of crying.) The cream is easily absorbed into thin-skin areas such as the breasts, inner arms, neck or belly by the subcutaneous fat and then released into the bloodstream. You should be careful of the dosage level in these products. Some may have none to very little and others provide 20-30 mg in an average application. It's always best to first check with a doctor.

The information in this article is for educational purposes only, and is not intended as medical advice.

About the Author: Cathy Taylor is a marketing consultant and freelance writer. But doctors report that more often than not, it's not cancer, but some other cause such as water retention or benign lumps that enlarge during menses and shrink afterward.

Some women don't mind this symptom so much because it creates a 'womanly' feeling that they enjoy. But chronically tender nipples and breasts get old quick when experienced month after month.

Typically there isn't one cure that will get rid of all of the symptoms of sore breasts, but there are many simple and alternative methods that do offer relief over time.

Fibrocystic breasts or that thick and lumpy feeling, are typically a sign of relatively high estrogen and low progesterone levels.

Research has shown that progesterone cream can significantly reduce this symptom, as well as other supplementation such as with magnesium, Vitamin E, a high-quality omega 3 and Vitamin B6. Increasing fiber and eating dark green leafy vegetables can help flush out excess estrogen. Consider a short fast or detoxification.

Because estrogen may dominate and progesterone not be produced enough during menopause, symptoms such as breast tenderness are exacerbated. Stress seems to be a factor adding to this symptom and exercise can reduce the effects of it.
What are my other options

Do the Basics

Start with you primary care physician and make sure you've had a mammogram. For those of you concerned about radiation, have your doctor order thermography. If you have lumps, you probably need to know that they are benign to obtain peace of mind.

Improve your Diet

Your diet can have a significant impact on breast tenderness. Eliminate caffeine rich foods such as:

-coffee
-colas, and
-black tea

These kinds of stimulants have a significant effect on breast tenderness and women report almost immediate relief when they stop using them. Salt works the same way for other women.

Try Massage

This one probably sound too good to be true, but the truth is massage stimulates the lymphatic system and gets necessary fluids moving throughout your body again. It's also great for elimination and things like cellulite.

Take Time for Yourself

There's no business like the "self" business. When menopause sets in, the ovaries stop production of eggs, resulting in irregular menstrual activity that eventually ceases. Other hormonal changes occur and symptoms like stomach cramps, pain in the leg, irritability, mood swings, hot flashes and decrease in bone density accompany menopause.
Menopause usually occurs between the ages of 40 and 55, and is a natural event in every woman's life. It comes with its own string of health issues, be they physical or emotional, and can be a particularly trying time for those who suffer side effects of menopausal symptoms. They are just ways in which our body reacts to the decrease in production of female hormones.
Menopause and Stomach Cramps: Symptoms
Some women (the luckiest of the lot) may experience few symptoms, while others complain of mild to severe ones. However, the reassuring part is that the variation is normal. Women experiencing pelvic pain or cramps during menopause may recall suffering the same right before or during their menstrual periods and this may have a link to their hormonal cycle.
A common phenomenon during menstruation, this pelvic pain is termed as dysmenorrhea. However, if these stomach cramps occur during menopause and are severe enough to interfere with daily activities, then the cause may be an underlying condition and should be checked by a doctor.
Menopause and Stomach Cramps: Treatments
Stomach cramps experienced during menopause may be for a long period or occur infrequently for a short spell. If intense uterine contractions occur due to the hormonal changes taking place during menopause and are too prolonged, medical treatment for the cause may be necessary to get relief. Some Over the Counter (OTC) drugs are available to reduce pain and discomfort associated with them and those medications that do not contain steroids are preferable.
Other pleasurable options (since most of the gentler species would consider a pleasurable option to a merely therapeutic one) are, for menopausal women to enjoy a good, long soak in a hot bath or use a heating pad on the abdomen. The heat from the hot water or pad helps in increasing the blood flow and this reduces these or muscle spasms.
Menopause and Stomach Cramps: Psychological Counseling
A nutritionally balanced, healthy diet, regular physical exercise, sufficient rest, cutting back on alcohol intake and cigarette smoking also helps in reducing them during menopause. If the stomach cramps are so severe that they prevent you from enjoying your routine activities and timely rest does not help, it can be due to some other physical or emotional/behavioral disorders.
This kind of abdominal cramp can manifest itself in other ways and worsen behavioral symptoms like irritability, hostility, aggressive behavior, anxiety and depression. For treating this properly, it is very important for a woman to speak to someone she can confide in about any troublesome issues she may be facing or seek medical/psychological counseling to bring out the underlying issue so it can be dealt with effectively.
Doctors recommend a positive change in lifestyle and advice all such women to eat a balanced diet, take their vitamins on time, incorporate regular exercise in their life and learn to take things easier. These tips go a long way in reducing stress, the underlying cause for stomach cramps and menopause discomfort.

About the Author: Cathy Taylor is a marketing consultant and freelance writer. You want so badly for the both of you to be back together. You feel like nothing will ever be right and that makes you feel helpless and frantic. You think that by doing something desperate everything will work out the way you want it. This is usually never the case. So what can do you to bring your ex back then?

When you do something off the wall to win back your ex, it only makes it seem like you have gone completely insane. You don’t want to come off that way. You need to come off as someone who maintains control under any kind of pressure all the time. Think about the time when you first met. What were you like then?

For an example… are you the type to drink? Do you drink at all? Are you a social drinker or do you prefer to drink alone? If you are not accustomed to drinking or you drink lightly, you no doubt have a limited tolerance to alcohol. Supposing you drink more than your fair share one night at a party and your ex boyfriend is there as well. Do you think by overdrinking that this will bring your ex back? It’s more likely going to do one of two things, neither of them good. He could make him very angry perhaps driving him away for good or he may begin to laugh at you. This is the kind of laughing you would not want from him.

You have to understand that the only way to bring your ex back to you is to be yourself. Do not be someone you are not! Men will only like fake women for so long before they are tired of them. If you are the type of person who is a little shy, then it is okay to be a little shy. If you are an outgoing person, it is good to be outgoing.

Never try to be someone else. Men like it when women are upfront and honest with them. The best thing for women to do is show your ex that you still love him but it is best not to go overboard like calling all the time and professing your love.

Think about all those blond jokes and ditzy blond movies. Men and women alike love to laugh at them because they are overly silly and (in the movies) act like they are dumb. The women who portray these characters the movies are being something they are not. If you want to be something like this and think it will bring your ex back, you are only fooling yourself.

The overall thing to remember is when trying to bring you ex back to you, be yourself and stay at calm at all times.

About the Author: Teecee Go writes and contributes article focusing on helping people save their marriage and anyone treasure relationship dearer.
